BPS Summer School 2013
A cunning plan has been devised to keep you busy during the five summer months from April to August 2013 inclusive. Please have a look at Gordon's e-mail of 22nd March and decide if you would like to be involved. We will take a show of hands at the AGM to determine the level of interest.
If you are unable to attend the AGM please let Gordon know your reaction by e-mail (address on the Committee Members tab).
Interested members (students) would each invest in their own copy of :-
Michael Freeman’s Photo School – ‘Composition’ book. Available from Amazon at £11.51 inc. p&p
Over the Summer we will work our way through the book, chapter by chapter, and at the end of each chapter we are set a project by Michael to go out and take photographs based upon what we have learned.
The five stages of perfecting our knowledge of photographic composition are:-
The Basics
Geometrics I – Ratios & Lines
Geometrics II - Balance & Symmetry
Colour & Pattern
Space & Light http://www.ilex-press.com/books/michael-freemans-photo-school-composition/
